Corn Mayo Cutlet


Ingredients
American sweet corn-2cobs
Ginger-1/2 inch
Green chillies-2
Roasted channa dal(Pottu kadalai)-1 tea cup
Corriander leaves
Salt
Mayonnaise

Method
1. Powder the roasted channa dal and keep aside.
2. Boil corn with a little salt.
3. Scrap the kernels of the cob and grind it in a mixer along with ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves
4. Now blend the channa powder into the corn mixture. Check for salt adequacy.
5. Now make lemon-sized balls out of the mixture and flatten them to the size of small puris
6. Spread a little mayonnaise in one of them and cover it with another such puri.
7. Make sure that the the edges are sealed properly.
8. Shallow fry the cutlets.
9. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
