Prawn Piralan



Ingredients
Prawns-500gms (Shelled and de-veined)
Small onions-300gms
Chilly powder – 2tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder -1tsp
Salt
Oil-2tbsp

 Method
Crush onions coarsely .
Add onions, chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and turmeric and marinate for ½ an hour
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a thick bottomed vessel and sauté the marinated mixture a mild flame.
Keep it closed for 10 mins till liquid separates
Now remove the lid and keep frying till all the water is evaporated and the oil separates
Garnish with curry leaves
Serve hot with rice and rasam.
