Ingredients
Koorka(Chinese potato) – ½ Kg
Red chilli powder-approx 2tsp(adjust as per your taste)
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Oil-2tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
- Wash and pressure cook the Chinese potatoes with a little salt ,peel and cut into thick slices
- In a dry vessel ,make a dry mixture of the chilli powder, turmeric and required salt(judge after checking the saltiness of the boiled koorkas).
- Toss the moist koorka chunks in the masala and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the marinated koorka and fry in a medium flame till golden and crispy on the surface.
- Now add a few curry leaves and fry for another 5 mins and now its ready.
